Established in 1980 by renowned environmentalist Anil Agarwal, the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is a New Delhi-based public interest research and advocacy organisation. CSE researches into, lobbies for and communicates the urgency of development that is both sustainable and equitable.
Our mission is to empower people by providing them with knowledge and information about environmental issues, and to advocate for policies that promote sustainability, social justice, and economic viability.
